With 25+ years of experience in the commercial real estate and construction industry, Mike is recognized nationwide as a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) on cost segregation studies and tax depreciation.
Prior to founding Ernst & Morris Consulting Group, Inc. in 1993, Mike was an Appraisal and Valuation Group manager with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta and a Senior Appraiser for American Appraisal in Princeton, NJ.
Mike has extensive experience in performing cost segregation studies, commercial real estate appraisals, purchase price allocations, property records, and property tax studies. He has successfully collaborated in numerous construction contractor audits, construction claims and dispute litigations, and construction contract reviews.
A charter member of Financial Consulting Group (FCG), the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP) and a member of the American Society of Cost Engineers, Mike is a frequent speaker at AICPA and other CPA conferences.
